New data has uncovered that circa nine in ten employers (89%) don’t want the Government to increase the National Insurance (NI) rates in April. This is according to a poll of around 730 UK organisations which was carried out by recruitment firm Randstad UK.
The survey went on to find that just one in 14 employers (seven per cent) were happy for Chancellor Rishi Sunak to hike National Insurance contributions next month, as the Government has said it will do.
