In recent weeks, much has changed in the UK’s approach to combatting the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the Government’s daily briefings last week, it was confirmed that the grasp on controlling the levels of infection and death within the UK was at a stage in which Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his advisors were confident in lowering the current threat level from four, meaning the COVID-19 epidemic was in general circulation and transmission was high or rising exponentially, to three, in which only the former is true.
