A hefty compensation bill could be slapped on Morrisons after the supermarket lost an appeal ruling that claimed they were responsible for a former employee leaking personal details of thousands – The Guardian reports.

This ruling could give rise to more than 5,500 affected employees seeking compensation from the supermarket.
