The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) reveals that 67% of agencies say they will shift their focus from the NHS to the private healthcare market in a new report. At the same time, another round of NHS spending cuts is taking effect.
The REC' also found that 73% of healthcare recruiters say restrictions on NHS agency spending is harming the quantity of doctors and nurses who will fill temporary vacancies.
