Canadian meat industry hopes refugees can close talent gap

The Canadian meat industry is welcoming Syrian refugees in the hope that they will help the sector overcome its skills shortage.

Canada plans to help 25,000 refugees settle in the country by March. The meat industry has said that it would like to hire several of the refugees, iPolitics reports.
