Cunnington joins the pub company from Musgrave Retail Partners, where she was Head of Organisational Development.

HR Director Tim Painter, who assumed his role earlier this year, say of Cunnington's appointment: “Her role with Stonegate will be to attract the best people into our business across all functions. Stonegate is growing, and at an exciting stage of its development.

“Our people development agenda offers employees huge scope for career development, and with new opportunities opening up we are always on the lookout for new talent.”

Stonegate has recently been investing in Hull and the surrounding areas, pumping over £1million into a number of pubs in the region.

Kieran Rabbitt, Operations Director for the North East at the Stonegate Pub Company, says: “We have invested in all of our Hull pubs in the past year and will continue to do so.”
